Benefits Service offering advice and support in relation to all Central Government Social Security benefits and benefits administered by the Scottish Government. We are able to explore access to grants, other services through signposting and ensuring all possible local resources are put in place to assist people and families affected by cancer. We offer tribunal representation. We offer support for people getting back to work with advice and information. We offer support and advice for families who suffer bereavement with advice on benefits and entitlements. We can signpost for aids and adaptations as well as home care services and referrals to counselling and support. We off advice about access to the blue badge scheme as well as advice and support with fuel poverty and debt.
Catchment area:
Any adult and their family can access this service either directly by calling the contact number or via any health professionals involved. We can visit at home, in the community or in the hospital.
