The Cancer Information & Support Centre based in the Beacon Centre offers information and support to anyone affected by cancer. The Cancer Information & Support offers a drop in service to anyone affected by cancer between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday). The centre is manned on a part time basis by volunteers who provide a listening ear, as well as verbal and written information, to patients and their family and friends and anyone who might be affected by cancer including carers. When the centre is unmanned visitors are welcome to help themselves to any of the information available on display. Patients visiting the centre will also find information within the centre on how to contact their site specific Cancer Support Worker with any cancer related queries and/or concerns they might have.

Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00 (access to the Centre is available during these times and is manned on a part time basis with the assistance of a team of Macmillan volunteers).
