When affected by cancer, having the right kind of information and support at the right time is essential. That is what we provide here at The Delamere centre. We offer patients, their family members, and carers up-to-date information to help make informed choices about their cancer care, we offer practical advice and support for the everyday problems that can arise from living with cancer. The Delamere centre Information and Support Team are based at Halton Hospital and provide free access to a wide range of specialist information and support which is tailored to each individual, We offer this to anyone who lives in the Halton and Warrington area, so if you or a family member or friend is living with or beyond cancer and feel we could help, then please contact us. The team are available to help people with how they are feeling, give practical information and support, and help them find local services within their area. We are a walk-in centre, and our opening hours are, 10am to 4pm Monday – Friday (except Bank Holidays). Support group meetings are held on the 1st Friday of every month from 2pm to 3.30pm.
