The Pelvic Radiation Disease Association is the only UK Charity for patients suffering from pelvic radiation disease. We want pelvic radiation disease, a late effect of radiotherapy treatment affecting 8,500 new patients each year, to be recognized as a distinct illness. With correct treatment the quality of life of patients who suffer from pelvic radiation disease can be improved and so bring relief to thousands of patients who currently suffer debilitating symptoms and feel isolated and alone. We offer patients who suffer from pelvic radiation disease a source of information and support through our website and local support groups. We hold national meetings at least twice each year and produce regular newsletters to members.
