Dedicated Macmillan Wellbeing Practitioners are available for meaningful, holistic conversations over a cup of tea!; listen to concerns and worries, completing Holistic Needs Assessments before introducing a Care Plan that will help make connections to help with: money or jousing; caring responsibilities; physical concerns; complimentary therapies; emotional concerns; community engagement; use their network to find groups and resources that will: promote health and wellbeing; help to build confidence; create socialising opportunities. Friendly and welcoming peer group and volunteers: meet every Thursday from 1pm – 3pm; create a supportive community that enables members to play an active role in the ongoing management of their health and wellbeing; host Macmillan Coffee Mornings and help fundraising activities. Macmillan Hub and Library: hosted by a Macmillan Volunteer, the hub is open every Thursday from 1pm – 3pm (no appointment needed); The Greenock Macmillan Hub provides emotional support and is well stocked with the most up to date brochures/information; We also provide a Macmillan hub in partnership with Port Glasgow Library every Tuesday from 1pm - 3pm
