Our partnership
We have been working with Aviva since 2014 to help Aviva protection customers living with cancer get faster insurance claims.
Aviva advisors speak directly with a Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist to confirm an individual's cancer diagnosis, instead of waiting for a medical report from the GP. They can help reduce the time it takes to process an individual critical illness insurance claim.
Aviva claims staff have also received bespoke training from Macmillan to help them to better support customers living with or affected by cancer. The Aviva customer team will also signpost people living with cancer to our emotional, practical and financial support services.
