Our partnership with Lovehoney
Find out more about our partnership with Lovehoney, the UK’s leading sexual wellness brand.
Our partnership
We’re working together to make the conversation about sex and cancer louder and to empower and equip people to ask for support. Lovehoney helps you discover your sexual happiness, and together, we want to address the concerns of people living with cancer to help to improve their quality of life.
A cancer diagnosis often has a huge impact on your sexual wellbeing. The stress of diagnosis, changes from treatment or surgery and the impact this can have on your body image, will understandably change how you feel about intimacy.
Meet our storytellers
Real life experience of sex, intimacy and relationships after a cancer diagnosis can help to break down the taboos. We’re partnering with Lovehoney because we want everyone to feel empowered to discuss issues around sex, intimacy and cancer.
As part of the partnership, we are sharing unique stories from people affected by cancer about the way their diagnosis impacted their sexual wellbeing.
Supporting people living with cancer
Cancer and cancer treatment can affect many areas of sexual well-being.
Macmillan's website has information and support for people about sex and cancer.
We also have information created in partnership with the charity OUTpatients for LBGTQ+ people living with and beyond cancer. OUTpatients also have a Sex and Cancer hub on their website.
