About our partnership
We are now proud to have been in partnership with Screwfix Foundation for 12 years, in which more than £800,000 has been donated to Macmillan.
Until December 2024, the partnership funded Macmillan Grants for home improvement such as bathroom adaptations, refurbishments, and stairlifts. The grants supported people living with cancer with the hidden costs a cancer diagnosis can bring due to having to adjust your home to make it more accessible.
Screwfix Foundations generous support has meant that more than 3,000 people all over the UK received a Macmillan Grant to help make their home more accessible.
The Macmillan Grant programme ends in February 2025, and we are exploring new restriction options with the Screwfix Foundation aimed at fixing, maintaining or improving buildings for people affected by cancer.
