Our experts are on hand with a warm welcome for anyone at any point in their cancer experience, as well as their family and friends.
From help with money worries or how you’re feeling to walking groups we’re here. We’ll help you find other local services too.
You don’t need an appointment, you can just pop in as many times as you need, we’re the first place to come to, so you know exactly what your next steps are. If you’re making a special trip, you can arrange an appointment.
Our Bolton Macmillan Cancer Support Centres have three locations across Bolton at Royal Bolton Hospital, Bolton One and Giles House at Bolton Hospice.

Our expert staff and volunteers in Bolton are here to help everyone living with cancer and their loved ones. Find advice whether you've just been diagnosed, are going through treatment or after treatment, and to help with the different ways cancer may impact your life.
Designed by people living with and beyond cancer
Bolton Macmillan Cancer Information service is a co-produced service. Everything is designed alongside people living with cancer and created with you in mind. The service has four strategic partners Macmillan, Bolton Hospice, Bolton PAC (Bolton People Affected by Cancer) and NHS Greater Manchester Integrated care. This means we have close links to the people looking after your cancer care and treatment. The service also works closely with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton Council.

We know that cancer can be tough on your finances. Our team can help with what support might be available in the Bolton area to help with the cost of cancer, including things like travel costs to hospital for cancer treatment, hospital parking, and free prescriptions. Managing emotions
Sometimes you may just want to talk to someone, and we’re here with whatever you need. We are a listening ear and can also give you information on how to manage your feelings when you have cancer, before, during and after treatment. We have information to help you with the practical, emotional, and financial impacts of supporting someone with cancer.
