Dr Ashling Lillis
Ashling is part of Macmillan’s Centre of Clinical Expertise team, focusing on the experience of acutely unwell cancer patients.
Ashling's background
Ashling is a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Ambulatory Care at Whittington Health in North London. She joined Macmillan in 2016 as an NHS National Medical Director’s Fellow. She continues to work in the Centre of Clinical Expertise team focusing on the experience of acutely unwell cancer patients and the importance of generalists within the cancer workforce.
She attended the University of Cambridge and then Queen Mary University of London before training in acute medicine and critical care in the east end of London which brought a strong focus on health inequalities to her practice and work at Macmillan Cancer Support.
