Rachel's background
Rachel has recently joined the CoCE team as the National Clinical Advisor for systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT) across all NHS England trusts. She has been a qualified nurse for 21 years, working mostly in oncology, in a variety of roles and centres.
Rachel’s current NHS role is Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in Oncology, within an acute trust in Plymouth. In the past few years she has transformed its acute cancer services, and how the team provides a 24-hour triage line. Her interests are SACT, older adults in cancer, and acute oncology and assessment.
