Macmillan Family Support - Northfleet, Kent

I am based at the Hospice in Northfleet. I support our In Patient Unit and Day Therapy patients. I offer support with financial, emotional, psychosocial problems that patients or their relatives may have. I am at the Hospice 8am - 6pm Monday to Thursday. This gives continuity to my work and allows me to build up relationships with people. My work is mainly carried out face to face but obviously some telephone work is necessary. I work with the Macmillan Palliative Social Worker and we support each other with our caseload.
