You don’t have to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning to take part, you can also go to one!

About Coffee Morning

The first Coffee Morning happened in 1990. It was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their drink to Macmillan. It was so effective, we did it again the next year - only this time nationally.

Now Coffee Mornings come in all shapes and sizes. From small home gatherings to large corporate events; school fundraisers to a gathering with a local community group. They all have one thing in common - they raise vital funds to support the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer.

People chatting outside in a community space

As well as traditional Coffee Morning get togethers, we've seen kitchen discos, chai afternoon teas and even wild swimming cake baking!

It's your Coffee Morning, your way and no fundraiser is too big, or too small to make a difference.

Macmillan Cancer Support is 98% funded by voluntary donations. So however you choose to host your Coffee Morning it will help us continue to support people living with cancer.

Together, we help people living with cancer find their best way through, from the moment they're diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.
