About the event
Ultra X hosts ultramarathons in beautiful locations all over the world. Its events are loved by beginners, intermediates and professionals alike, with its overseas offering ranging from 50km to multi-stage 220km distances.

Finland
Ultra X Finland takes place in the Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark, situated in the Lahti region in southern Finland. It offers two races: Ultra X 110 Finland and Ultra X 50 Finland. The 110 event is a two-stage race taking place on Saturday and Sunday, whilst the 50 event is a single-stage race taking place on the Sunday, following the same route but starting 1 hour later.
Jordan
Ultra X Jordan takes place in the land of Lawrence of Arabia. The mystical desert course takes competitors past historic sites, into dramatic wadis and over magnificent sand dunes.
Madeira
Ultra X 50 and 110 Madeira is an ultramarathon that takes place in and around Madeira. Madeira is an autonomous Portuguese island and the largest and most populous of the Madeira Archipelago (Porto Santo and the Desertas being the others).
Morocco
Ultra X Morocco is an event that takes place in and around the city of Ouarzazate (Pronounced – Wuh-zuh-zet) in November each year. It offers two races: Ultra X 110 Morocco and Ultra X 50 Morocco.
Nevada
Ultra X Nevada is a multi-stage ultramarathon that takes place over five days in the Red Rock Conservation Area and Spring Mountain Recreation Area – the mountain range that rises like an island out of the Mojave Desert to the west of Las Vegas.
Rwanda
Ultra X 50 and 110 Rwanda is an ultramarathon that takes place over two days around northern Rwanda in the districts of Burera and Musanze.
Slovenia
The Ultra X Slovenia is the pinnacle of multi-stage Ultra X racing. It offers a 5 stage 220km race, a 2 stage 110km race and a single stage 50km race.
Tanzania
Ultra X Tanzania is a multi-stage ultramarathon that takes place over 5 days in the in the stunning scenic and seldom travelled backcountry of northern Tanzania around Mount Kilimanjaro. The route showcases the best of Tanzania and the best of Africa.

How to enter the Ultra X Overseas series
Secure a Team Macmillan place
Registration fee: Fees vary dependent on the event and distance. Further details can be found by clicking Enter Race on the relevant race via the Ultra X event web page. All Team Macmillan places receive a 50% discount on their registration fee.
Sponsorship pledge: All Team Macmillan places have a discounted registration fee of 50%, on condition our runners pledge to raise a set amount. These pledges vary dependent on the event and distance, and further details can be found by clicking Enter Race on the relevant race via the Ultra X event web page.

If you've already secured your own place, you can still sign up to join Team Macmillan – simply click the I have my own place button at the top of this page, and we’ll give you all the information and support you need to be part of Team Macmillan.
