About the event
Kiltwalk 2025 is here - bringing walkers together in their best tartan for an amazing day out. With various distances, and new lower registration fees, there is something for everyone - so don't miss out!
Choose your distance:
- The Mighty Stride: 20 miles. Leaving from Holyrood Park and taking you around the Capital before finishing up at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, the Mighty Stride is a 20-mile route.
- The Big Stroll: 11 miles. Taking you from Fisherrow Links (Musselburgh) and finishing at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
- The Wee Wander: 5 miles. Perfect for the whole family, the Wee Wander experience in Edinburgh is the ultimate day out – even your dog can join the fun!
How to enter the Edinburgh Kiltwalk
Secure a charity place
Sign up for FREE with Team Macmillan and fundraise a minimum of £100 (Mighty Stride) or £50 (Wee Wander) using the following codes:
- Mighty Stride – MACMEDMS
- Big Stroll – MACMEDBIG
- Wee Wander Adult – MACMEDWWA
- Wee Wander Child – MACMEDWWC.

Already got your place in Edinburgh’s Kiltwalk and want to join Team Macmillan? Sign up here and we'll get a free Macmillan running top sent to you. There's no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can!

Please make sure you read our Terms and Conditions before signing up. You must be aged 13+ on the event day to take part in The Mighty Stride; aged 10+ for The Big Stroll; and 5+ for The Wee Wander.

Event Accessibility
Due to the terrain of the route, The Mighty Stride and The Big Stroll may not be suitable for wheelchair users. The Kiltwalk recommends The Wee Wander route for wheelchair users.
When signing up, you can include any accessibility requirements you may have in your event registration form.
