Birmingham Walk to Support
About The Event
Calling all walkers, strollers and rollers.
Join us for Walk to Support, a fun way to enjoy quality time with friends, family and like-minded people while exploring our vibrant city of Birmingham. Celebrate our communities across the Midlands and make a difference by fundraising for people living with cancer.
Our journey will begin at the event village in Centenary Square, where you'll find food and drink stalls, music, face painting, and information about Macmillan's services. Choose between a scenic 10km route showcasing some of Birmingham's most iconic landmarks, or a more relaxed and accessible 2.5km circuit around the village.
Along the route, you'll encounter numerous rest stops and Macmillan stewards and volunteers to keep you on track. You don't need to be fit or fearless to participate. Simply sign up, gather support, and fundraise as much as you can to improve the lives of people with cancer. Come along and enjoy a wonderful day filled with camaraderie and support.
The Walk to Support experience
Whether you’re new to Macmillan or have been a part of the community for a long time, we’re celebrating the people and services that make up Macmillan – and fundraising to continue to do all we can to support people living with cancer.
As a Team Macmillan participant at Walk to Support you'll receive:
But most importantly...
We'll provide you with a reason to keep going because you'll know that you're helping improve the lives of people living with cancer.
Donations make up 98% of our annual income so we simply couldn't do what we do without you.
