About the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike
Starting inland in Wareham, you’ll head out towards the stunning Dorset coastline, taking in views of the famous Corfe Castle and Old Harry Rocks. A challenging route, but one of the most beautiful!
Hike solo and meet friends along the way or sign up with a team of friends and family for a memorable day together.

When and where does the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike start and finish?
The full and half marathons will start at Norden Farm, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 5DW.
The half marathon finishes at Journey's End Field, Swanage, BH19 1NN. The full marathon is a circular route, and finishes back at Norden Farm.
The full marathon waves will start every 20 minutes from 06:50, and the half marathon waves will start every 20 minutes from 08:50.

What is the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike route?The Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike begins near the beautiful Corfe Castle before heading anticlockwise out to St Aldhelm's Chapel on the coast. You will keep walking along the coast and into Swanage for the half marathon finish. Full marathon hikers will then continue north, past Old Harry Rocks and into Studland before walking back to finish near Corfe Castle.

2. Dancing Ledge - a dramatic location where cliffs meet the sea in a stunning display of natural beauty.
3. Old Harry Rocks - the iconic towering sea stacks of chalk jutting out from the water. -
Where should I stay for the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike?
Corfe Castle is easily accessible from Wareham (along the A351) or Swanage (either via the A351 or B3351), both with multiple accommodation options.

How do I get there?Free shuttle buses will run from the half marathon finish at Journey's End Field back to the car park in the afternoon.
You can book parking and shuttle buses when you register.
You can also get to the start line by getting a train to Norden train station which is adjacent to the event site. Please note that we can't guarantee that public transport will be running at the time you will be starting and finishing your hike. You can view details of the station here. -
What if my Mighty Hike gets cancelled?If your Mighty Hike is cancelled for any reason, you’ll be contacted by email and text and live updates will be made to this FAQ document with all the information you need.
