A person in a bright pink jumper is leaning over a table and placing a pound note in a Macmillan collection box. The box is on a table that has been decorated for a Coffee Morning. There are drinks and different sweat and savoury foods on the table.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I have to pay in my money at a specific bank?

We ask our supporters to pay their money into a branch of Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest or Ulster Bank. Other banks might charge a processing fee and using them means that we won't be able to trace the payment to you and send you your well-deserved thank you and personalised certificate.

You can also pay in at any Post Office branch.

  • How do you receive the donations given on my fundraising page?

Donations received through your Coffee Morning fundraising page are automatically sent to us. PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc may be subject to charges.

Everything you need to know about using your fundraising page can be found in our fundraising page guide.

  • When will I receive my thank you letter and certificate?

You will receive a confirmation email when we receive your donation/s. If you pay in multiple amounts or via multiple ways (i.e. at a bank, via bank transfer, by post, Just Giving, via QR code, etc.) you can expect a confirmation email after each transaction.

Within 6 weeks following your first transaction a thank you letter and personalised certificate will be posted to you. You may receive a further thank you letter and certificate with an updated total if your donations are paid in over several weeks/payment methods.

Facebook and Text2Donate donations unfortunately are not included in your totals, please contact us if you would like a bespoke thank you with these amounts.

If you need further help please speak to our Supporter Care Team on 0300 1000 200 or email coffee@macmillan.org.uk.
