Transformational Leaders Programme
What is the Transformational Leaders Programme?
We want to ensure that everyone at the end of their life has access to the high quality care and support they need.
However, considerable variation in how services are designed and delivered across the UK is resulting in inequitable provision and experience of care.
Many people are not identified as needing end of life care at an early enough stage to put in place the right support; and too often it is not effectively joined up, leading to a poorer quality of care.
The Transformational Leaders Programme will drive the strategic design and direction of palliative and end of life care services, with the aim of addressing the stark variation in support and delivering sustained transformational change across the UK.
