Hayley's HYROX story

Hayley took on HYROX London in 2023 after supporting her partner through his cancer journey. Hayley’s partner was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer at age 31.

‘We were fortunate to have each other. I was around to support him when he needed me, to take him to his hospital appointments, to cook his meals once had chemotherapy. This is why I believe Macmillan is such an important charity. Unfortunately, not everybody has someone to support them through the toughest time of their life. I couldn’t imagine how anyone could get through it alone and thankfully with Macmillan, they don’t have to.’

'When most people think of charity runs, you just think of a marathon. And the fact that Macmillan are working with HYROX now, it’s making more people aware and giving people more opportunity to raise more money and help the people that need it.'
