About the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike
The Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike starts in Skipton and follows the grassy trails of the river Aire and Pennine Way, past drystone walls, old mills, and beautiful bridges. Full marathon hikers will enjoy spectacular views of Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss.
Hike solo and meet friends along the way or sign up with a team of friends and family for a memorable day together.

When and where does the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike start and finish?
The full marathon and half marathon start at Malham Show Fields, Skipton, BD23 4DA.
The half marathon finishes at Church Lane, Hebden, BD23 5DX. The full marathon is a circular route and finishes back at Malham Show Fields.
The full marathon waves will start every 20 minutes from 06:30, and the half marathon waves will start every 20 minutes from 09:10.

What is the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike route?
The Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike starts in the beautiful village of Malham, before heading anticlockwise, down past Way Gill and over to Hebden for the half marathon finish. The full marathon then continues north to Conistone before heading west back past Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss before finishing back in Malham.

The closest place with multiple accommodation options to Malham Show Fields is in Skipton, a short 20 minute drive away along the A65.

How do I get there?
We recommend having access to a vehicle to get to this event.
Parking for the full marathon and half marathon is at Malham Show Fields, Skipton, BD23 4DA.
*Currently parking at Malham Show Fields is fully booked. We are looking at alternative options and will amend the registration form as soon as we have an update.
Free shuttle buses will run from the half marathon finish on Church Lane to the car park in the afternoon.
You can book parking and shuttle buses when you register.
